Services at EOS Nursing
All of our services are grounded in a developmental trauma lens. We believe many mental health symptoms are adaptations to what you lived through—and that with the right support, your brain and nervous system can change.
Developmental Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Use
We connect your history to your current symptoms and build a plan that can include medications, collaboration with therapists, nervous system practices, and practical behavioral changes to support your daily life.
We work with adults who have lived through emotional neglect, chaos, abuse, or other early-life adversity and now struggle with:
-
You may feel “always on,” scanning for what could go wrong, even when you’re technically safe. This kind of anxiety is often rooted in earlier experiences where you had to be on guard. At EOS, we look at how your past trained your nervous system to stay activated and work with you on both medication options and practical calming strategies.
-
Depression and burnout can look like exhaustion, loss of motivation, or feeling disconnected from people and things you care about. For many, this is the nervous system’s way of shutting down after too much stress for too long. We explore the story behind your symptoms and build a plan that respects your limits while helping you slowly reconnect with energy, purpose, and pleasure.
-
Using alcohol, cannabis, or other substances often begins as a way to cope—with anxiety, pain, memories, or overwhelm. Over time, what helped you get through can start to create its own problems. We approach substance use without shame, looking at what it’s been doing for you, then helping you find safer, more sustainable ways to regulate while we address the underlying trauma and mood symptoms.
