How Care Works at EOS Nursing

Step 1 – Tell Us Where You Live

We start by confirming your location:

  • If you’re within our mobile service area in LA County, you’re eligible for in-home and hybrid care.

  • If you’re outside the radius or in Arizona or Massachusetts, we’ll see you via telehealth.

Step 2 – Choose Your Care Path

  • If you want the option of in-home visits now or later, you’ll be seen as an EOS Nursing client, and we’ll bill your insurance directly.

  • If you prefer telehealth-only, we’ll connect you through Headway for virtual visits.

Step 3 – We Check Your Insurance

We verify your benefits and let you know what to expect before your first visit, including copays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket costs when possible.

Step 4 – Comprehensive Trauma-Informed Evaluation

Your intake visit includes:

  • Trauma and life-story screening

  • Review of current symptoms, history, medications, and supports

  • Collaborative goal setting that respects your values, culture, and priorities

Step 5 – Ongoing Care

Together, we’ll decide on a plan that may include:

  • Medication management

  • Referrals and coordination with therapists or other providers

  • Practical strategies for nervous system regulation, sleep, and daily functioning

  • Regular follow-up and adjustment based on what’s actually working for you

EOS Nursing vs Headway Telehealth (Simple Version)

We partner with Headway to make insurance-based telehealth more accessible. Here’s how to know which pathway fits you best.

EOS Nursing (Direct)

Become an EOS Nursing Client

  • Who: Local, within EOS mobile radius

  • Modality: In-home + telehealth (hybrid)

  • Billing: EOS Nursing via our billing partner

  • Ownership: You’re on the EOS Nursing client panel

Headway Telehealth

Use Headway for Telehealth

  • Who: Outside EOS radius, or tele-only preference in California, plus Arizona & Massachusetts

  • Modality: Telehealth only

  • Billing: Headway

  • Ownership: You’re on the Headway panel with Mark as your provider

If you live inside the EOS mobile radius in LA County, you can choose between EOS Nursing and Headway.

If you live outside the radius or in Arizona or Massachusetts, your visits will be through Headway telehealth.
